The Companion, connected to an ultra-sensitive movement pad (included), can detect the shaking of a tonic-clonic seizure, alert to the audible sound of a seizure, and record seizure activity. In addition to detecting the repetitive movements associated with a tonic-clonic seizure, it can detect repetitive or prolonged sounds, excess moisture (with moisture-detecting sheets or pillowcases), and has adjustable time delays for bed vacation (with an additional bed sensor). The Companion connects with a sophisticated pager with a unique FailSafe RF protocol to notify carers of any changes in the device.
